I luff mojitos. Sometimes I like to go to Viva Cuba, order mojitos and a bowl of olives, and just sit there reading whatever books I have in my bag...

Euphro says:

So, educate me, what's a Mojito (apart from tickling the Spanish part of my brain with a meaning along the lines of "little wet one")?

seaneeboy says:

nalsa - have you been to Viva Cuba now they've turned the upstairs into a bar? It's fantastic :)

And their daquaris are fabulous. Like being hit in the face by a big boozy pillow.

seaneeboy says:

Euphro - Mash some mint and sugar with lime juice in the bottom of a highball glass, add some good cuban rum, top up with some soda and a sprig of mint then drink.

Repeat about ten times.

Sing, then Fall over.

Joe says:

all with crushed ice....and lots of it :)

20th Jun 2005, 15:34

seaneeboy says:

Ah yes, sorry, handful of crushed ice in about every step :)

20th Jun 2005, 15:35

Euphro says:

Sounds very nice, and thanks for the description :D

20th Jun 2005, 15:36

Joe says:

Euphro, they are one of the deadliest drinks in excistence, especially on hot days, you don't even notice the rum until it's way too late....

nalsa says:

Sean, yep, the upstairs bar is really quite comfy, and midweek after work it's fairly quiet too. I love Viva Cuba :-)
