These are random moments in the life of an indecent designer and the city she loves.

I am a female, carbon based lifeform.
I am a New York City Native.
I am a Design Professional.
I take photographs.
I also sculpt, paint, create mosaics, and play with weapons.

And sometimes, I even dance about Architecture.

What I see, is what you get.

Oh where do I begin....

Well really, I have only 3 comments.

1. Whoever chose that photo to go next to *my* name is today's Agent of Irony. Further, I think there were much more powerful photos they could have taken.

2. I don't know what an "online friend" is, but I know I don't pull 18 hour days for them. That's gonna rub me the wrong way all day.

3. The woman who wrote the story was *very* nice, and was under serious space constraints from her editor, so a lot of what I told her didn't get anywhere near this article, including the **mad** pimpage for the following things:

2. Jan.
3. Alfie himself.
4. Everyone else on the WNA team.
5. bronxelf.com
6. al4ie.com
7. Mat.
8. Hotdog, for forwarding the Adam Stacey photo to Skynews.
9. Daz, for translating anything I didnt understand in German.

Story to be found here.

I'm sorry she wasted your time.. But I can't help but snicker, especially at the photo. :)

It's not a waste. It's not about me. It's about the site. The site got plugged and that's the point. The only part that *REALLY* (and it does) bother me is the phrase "online friend".

daz says:

"them weird internet folks..." ... Yeah.

I don't have online friends personally, I just have friends...it is a weird choice of phrase to use

That picture + Your name = Cant. Stop. Laughing.

Drawbacks you already pointed out aside, I think it is a nice little promo piece.

Oh the irony. I hurt myself snarfing my morning caffeine.

Glad the site got some good promo. I hope lots of people see it.

This article is a lot nicer than the carping the NY Times did in their arts section...

Hi Pickle,

If you sent it to us via the website, it'll be a little bit before we see it. We're um... A little backlogged at werenotafraid central. :)

Thank you for sending it though :D
