ah, the famous rothesay gents' toilets
after hearing so much about them, i snuck in when it was empty once for a look....the ladies' isn't half as grand!
ah yes - my girlfriend was suitably miffed that the ladies were housed in the extension... the attendant can take you for a tour though!
presumably harks back to the days when ladies didn't go to the toilet... :)
do you think they take you on a tour, even if it's in use at the time?!
i think it says something about tours during 'quiet periods'... i'm not sure what the traditional quiet periods for a toilet are, maybe you just have to go along and ask.
Visited here on my honeymoon in 1974 - they were a a wonderful
testament to victorian craftmaship-hope the vandals haven't got at them.
