Cake-y Bliss

My friend Andy went and got married today. I missed the ceremony but turned up for speeches, cake and the start of the dancin'.

The cake was a three-tiered affair using a special stand as opposed to little pillars: it looked a lot like a tri-D chess set from STOS [/geek].

Perhaps indeed-ed.

But I wouldn't know -I haven't paid it much heed.

heed-ed. : D

(so, yes. I was mostly asking, did you mean orig. series, by OS. because I have not seen much / etc. I only watch the newer ones/ random episodes if i'm eating dinner with my younger brother who insists on having it on. and i dont usually mind too much.

I have absolutely no memory of writing my previous comment.

Booze.

Either that or someone's hacking me. Or something. And it does explain why it makes no sense.

But yes: STOS = Star Trek Original Series. A lot of people also use TOS as The Original Series, but I don't think that's quite as catchy.

STOS has a fairly high comedy value quotient, but there are some damn good ol' stories in there, too. Makes Enterprise look like a pile of overpriced bobbins, at least.
