This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? I don't intend to be cremated with any of it! It is in giving that I connect with others, with the world and with the divine."

"The grand show is enternal. It is always sunrise somewhere; the dew is never dried all at once; a shower is forever falling; vapour is ever rising. Eternal sunrise, eternal dawn and gloaming, on sea and continents and islands, each in its turn, as the round earth rolls."

And here I am, staying in Seville at the glorious Hotel Alfonso XIII on a press comp (writing about it for work). I have been told by several people that it is the best and most expensive hotel in Seville and I can believe it! I haven't had time to look around properly yet, but what I've seen is absolutely stunning and the staff are all friendly and helpful. It's a shame that just one coffee would blow my budget for more than a day...

just used your tag to look back at all your pics - like piecing a jigsaw together. This looks fantastic - it is really hard to reconcile the fact that you can stay somewhere like this and yet not afford the coffee!
Type of thing that sends my mind into a spin! My husband did a weeks work in Bristol last week and stayed in a room with a bed that sounds as if it was 7'x7' and there was as much fresh fruit as he liked and a decanter of sherry! It didn't cost an absolute fortune as he won't go over £90 a night (even though it is paid for)- we booked it through expedia - it was about £30 cheaper than direct - all crackers!

Thanks Viv!

It is wierd, but I got to write about the hotel which was fun..

When I used to run my consultancy I didn't have to worry about money at all and it still feels wierd to go to all these great places and still be careful what I spend. But it's a great life *grins happily*

have to say, though, if I was told I could eat as much fresh fruit as i liked, I think I'd have to test it..
This kind of behaviour used to *really* embarass Izadora when she was younger. Now she just laughs.

I think when you go past the 7th banana your stomach decides to take drastic action!

anyway, I have seen your waist line, it looks like you could fit an apple and half an elderberry :)

Thanks Steve, you sweetie..

But if it's unlimited fruit, you could have a lot of well before you got to your 7th banana...
