HESFES 2008: More Mersea Island Boats

This boat was abandoned in the harbour when we were here this time last year, however back then it was facing vertically so it wasn't blocking access.

Sometime during the last year it must have been moved sideways by the tide and now it's horizontal and taking up a lot of room, thus blocking easy access to the shore/water.

It's quite sad seeing two boats that were probably pristine, seaworthy vessels in their day wasting away like this, I wonder what happened to their owners?

Have a look at the satellite pic on the map and you can see both boats facing vertically, obviously this shot was a while ago.
