I'm very tempted. It's about $700 for a PAYG in the states. It's a pain in the arse for me to get a contract because I have no credit history out here : (
Thanks to a rather kind friend who works for a mobile phone company in Glasgow, I've got 30% off my mobile phone contract.
And thanks to someone amazing working in a department store in London, there's an iPhone sitting behind their mobile phone counter with my name on it. I'm picking it up after work..
Teflon, Didn't you mention you were sending yours back? Or was that some kind of joke I totally missed?
Nope, you're right - I spent a happy two hours in Carphone Warehouse on Monday returning it (easy), and trying to get the right department at O2 for "I've recently joined O2 and ported my number over, but would now like to return my handset within the 14 day money back period, and get a PAC code in order to keep my number and set up a new O2 account with it in a different store." (not so easy)
It's a great device for many things, but it's bobbins as a phone, and the camera's not up to much either.
I'm on a Sony Ericsson C702 at the moment. It's got more or less the same camera as the k800, but with added GPS. Except I've yet to get the GPS working, so I mamy see if I can swap it for the C902, which is lacking GPS, but does have a nicer camera.
