This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

Lost again.... and again...

After flamenco class I got seriously lost on the way back to the room but saw a lot of a very interesting area. When I finally found my room and dumped my stuff I took a wrong turn on the way between it and the hotel! Dont know how I managed it, I only needed to follow one straight line, but it was very useful becaus I stumbled on Plaza de Alfalfa which is near Don Quijote Seville, the language school I covered in June.Rob at Don Quijote very generously arranged for me to use their internet while Im here. Im gong to need it. Internet access and computer use at Taller Flamenco is very basic. Not just because there is only one machine available for the whole school, but also because Explorer is the only programme enabled. I cant even cut and paste from word documents and certainly cant Skype anyone. If I want to eat I really shouldnt spend money on internet cafes so I have to remember where Don Quijote is.I lost so much time getting lost on the way to the hotel and was worried about my knee that I jumped at the offer Jorge made to collect me and my luggage from the hotel and take me to my new room. We went for a drink at Alameda de Hercules after dumping the second round of luggage. Alameda de Hercules is the trendy, bohemian area of Seville, so naturally Esther lives nearby.Jorge says he makes a brilliant gazpacho and keeps telling me about his swimming pool. I wonder if he will invite me round to prove it..Got back to my room too late and too tired to work, then discovered that I had left my toiletries bag (including toothbrush) back in Hotel Alfonso XIII.
