"Are you glum? or hungover?"

"Isn't it you that's hungover?!"

"Yeah? long story."

"Just tired. Now I need your passport data. You'll need to get your boarding
card for London in Berlin. I can give you one now but I can't print out a
boarding card for Berlin."

"So I will need to check in again at Berlin?"

"Yes? actually you will need to get your boarding card at the transfer
desk."

"A long day."

"There's your ticket. Three twenty."

Lugging my bag, I made to leave. "It's been beautiful."

"Thanks." She smiled widely.

Stop the plane! I'm in love.

Advert

Just tell your flight attendant. Airline will take any excuse at all to delay or cancel a flight.

There's probably a clause in the ticket contract that says you won't get your money back if a flight is delayed or canceled on account of affection, however.

Granted, but the only problem is that i'm sure stewardesses fit into the same sphere of unavailability as female barkeeps.
Weathering the fact of being cracked onto constantly, with dignity, is probably the unwritten clause in their contract :)

I dunno. I've heard these things, but I'm assured that flight attendants and bartenders and baristas and exotic dancers and all these other sorts of people who are, basically, paid for the job of smiling at you and being friendly still occasionally like to go out for a cup of coffee. And possibly gripe about the jerks who constantly hit on them. :)
