Personal Favourites from my moblog

"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

One of the photo forums I participate in has a regular alphabet round. Each day, you go out and find something to shoot that corresponds to that day's letter. When the end of the alphabet is reached, it starts all over again. I'm usually not there often enough to take full part, so I thought I'd do it here to stretch myself a bit. Tomorrow, B!

So, A is for apple (of course) and aerodynamic. ETA: Moved to http://moblog.net/Caineabet/

Hugs back, Kozika san. :D

On third thought, I decided to start a separate blog for this, a daily alphabet rather than a daily me. ;) http://moblog.net/Caineabet/

Your apples are growing fast. Mine are still tiny things on the tree.

Caine says:

It's hard to imagine my apples being ahead of anyone else's. They are usually so slow and late. We've had a lot of rain, that might have made the difference.

I have no idea what kind of apples these are, they don't grow very big and they are best for baking. I really want to get another apple tree in the yard.

Kostika says:

We have 3 apple trees in the yard and I've no clue what any of them are.

Caine says:

We looked at apple trees last year, checked into all the varieties, and decided which one we wanted. Of course, now I don't have a clue which variety that was, so we'll have to go look and figure it out again. All that really matters is that they are tasty.

21st Jul 2008, 09:44

Kostika says:

Even though I've no clue what variety mine are, they're all good for baking. Great for pies and applesauce.

Caine says:

Mmmm. I love baked apples, one of my favourite things. If you can bake them, I don't care what type they are. Rick wants a 'eat straight off the tree' variety though, and that works too.

21st Jul 2008, 10:05

Kostika says:

My hubby doesn't care. He'll eat baking apples right off the tree :o)

21st Jul 2008, 10:07

Caine says:

Hahahaha. Rick tried that with our apple tree, they aren't straight off the tree eating, and that man will eat bloody anything.

(btw I ate my first and only tomato of the season the other day)

Oh, fresh tomatoes. One of the finest pleasures.
