(6 lb 4 oz) born today at 06:42 after a 28 hour labour. We had planned a
home birth, but had to move to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital on Sunday
evening, due to a shortage of midwives. He's doing well, although is a bit
shivery a times, even when it's toasty warm. Lisa's been coping much better
than me at the whole complete unknownness of looking after a tiny person.
Maybe I'm just feeling a bit peculiar having had about 2 hours sleep since
Saturday morning! Time for bed...

Helen says:

Awww. Is he a thumbsucker already? Or is that a trick of the camera?

Looks quite content.

I like his hat.
Good nose too...
Learning to meditate can help compensate for lack of sleep. Takes less time than sleep. Don't worry, once he's at uni' you can have a lie-in... ;)
