These are random moments in the life of an indecent designer and the city she loves.

I am a New York City Native.
I am a Design Professional.
I take photographs.
I also sculpt, paint, create mosaics, and play with weapons.

What I see, is what you get.
Aww, I hope all goes well and Hydrox is a-okay quickly. You're going to be sitting kittens?
If by sitting you mean "keeping indefinitely", then yes. Amy works at a shelter that usually just takes older cats. Though I am actually not particularly a fan of kittens, preferring older cats, I had told Amy that because of the ages of my girls I really wasnt looking for any older cats- just to be able to spread out the vet bills. She said that her shelter rarely got kittens, but what should she look for. I decided to make up a ridiculous scenario- if you get two kittens, both male. One is orange and the other looks like Argent, call me.
About three weeks ago Amy called. Two kittens were found separately on the streets of Boston- with no mom, and no siblings. One was just shy of 5 weeks and the other was about 8 weeks. One was orange, the other looked like Argent. Both male. And they came into *her* shelter, which rarely gets kittens. She told me all the shelters are totally full, even more so than usual. With the downturn in the economy, the family pet is often the first disposable item. No one has room. She asked if I could take them since they needed room at the inn.
So.
So. I know that so. I know it all too well, we're old and familiar friends. I hope Hydrox isn't going to be too upsetty about having kids in the house. They're going to make you crazy. Can't wait to see them.
Forget Hydrox and Hilfy. It's Buggy that's likely to lose his tiny little mind.
The little ones already have names. Amy begged me to come up with them since apparently the names they were calling them at the shelter were so bad she wouldn't even tell me what they were.
Oh poor Bug. Yeah, that could be problematic. Elvis & Sinister had idiotic names when we adopted them from the shelter. What are the new kit's names?
My poor sweetie. Hoepfully she enjoys summer camp.
Hugs to the furry - and have fun with the littlies!
