around the corner from the asphalt is our ice cream truck. when school is in, it is rolling around the neighbourhood in case someone needs an emergency ice cream.

good one, mara. of course italiani. my area of town was settled in the 1950s by Italian immigrants from Calabria. My house has a grape vine and a place to store the wine I could make. Soon the air will be full of the smell of roasting peppers. If it was not for the Italiani around me, there would not be four different kinds of carciofi, eggplants, and every kind of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and of course, vino. Toronto has the largest Italian population outside of Rome. can you tell how much I love Italy?
