Personal Favourites from my moblog

"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience

Skating away, skating away, skating away On the thin ice of the new day"

My favourite shot is the 2nd one, the swingset using tractor tire tread as the seats.

All Terrain Wagon, I like that. I wonder if it has to be tied down to stop it adventuring off across teh plains? I like that third one too, it makes your eyes go funny :)

Thank you. :) I love Radio Flyer wagons, I had one when I was a sprog. I'd never seen the ATW version though. Great thought it could go adventuring off on its own. The 3rd shot is a reflection from one of those tiny garage windows.

Thank you, thank you! I'll go look at yours right away. I'd been eying Alfie's CSS for a while, so decided to change. Most of the themes went strange with the upgrade, and dumped the text at the bottom. The two themes left with text at the top didn't work for me.

Great stuff - My favourite is the second shot too.

I like the one with the mattress in. Sharp contrasting colours, and odd content! You find some interesting things on your walks!

Thanks, Jun. It's a good way to recycle those gigantic tires a bit. Someone else uses one as a flowerbed surround. I'll get a picture of it.

Thanks, V. You mean the 4th shot? That's a chair, the recliner sort. It's sitting in a trailer made out of a chopped Chevrolet. North Dakota is full of stuff like this, and Almont is no exception. It's an eccentric town, which is why I moved here. :D

I used Alfie's as a template too. It's nice to be able to finally look at CSS and work out what means what. I can only really edit it though, so I tend to work off others templates and amend them as best I can.

Funnily enough you & i have exactly the same size headers!

actually i've looked again and i don't think we do, but it's nice to see someone else with Calibri font as well!

Caine says:

Yeah, I compared my header to yours. Mine says it's 190px, but it doesn't seem to be the same size as when I did it in pshop. I don't feel like messing with it any more though, so it stays. :)

I couldn't figure out how to access the themes anymore. You used to be able to go to http://moblog.co.uk/themes/25/styles.css, frinst., and use that to copy and edit from. You can't do that now, so I viewed Alfie's page source and went from there.

I used to do that too, but I kinda find it easier to look at whatever people have wrapped in their style tags now. I don't quite understand how these variable width pages work; all i know is that they adjust to the screen size of whoever is browsing. Worth a look too is Joes page:
