It is, isn't it? Bristol glass is justly famous for that blue though they also make fine ruby & green glass.

(Edit) A quick shufty shows me no recent green glass so that part of the trade may now be entirely defunct.

Cobalt blue is the only shade of blue I actually like. My grandmother had a set of the Cranberry glass given to her by her aunt, my great aunt Nell. (I think Aunt Nell had it left to her by her father, who was British.) Aunt Nell was every inch the character and had a ton of stuff stashed all over the place.
