These animal heads decorate an impressive but defunct drinking fountain erected to commemorate the first Royal Agricultural Show to be held on Durdham Downs (1878).

It's well looked after but not plumbed in. Would be bound to cost more to maintain in use so guess we'll have to settle for the sculptural qualities alone...
