oo-er that top one is very dramatic! Exciting towpath to ride along!
The difference in atmosphere between the two shots is jarring. I love the reflection in the bottom shot, and the intrusive pink. The top shot is like a modern, raw take on Munch's Scream. Faved the top shot.

No, I can't think of it that way either. I suppose I should, but there's too much raw power in it, too much intelligence for me to consider it vandalism.
If someone did that to my garage I'd be thrilled..
Also there were a number of barges parked (?berthed? what do you say for barges?) in this area. I got the feeling they were there for the atmosphere
Me too. I love seeing barges along a canal. I suppose berthed is right...docked isn't right, and neither is parked!
That'd give you a bit of a fright if you rode down there at night!
