A group distraction, presented by nige.
----------
The first instalment of Interview52 is now complete! It started on Friday 18th July 2008 and finished on 13th September 2009. A little later than expected, but we got there.
----------
52 mobloggers from around the world...
Some familiar, some not...
Each will publish a unique self-portrait, accompanied by a short interview.
Candid portrait meets candid interview.
The Rules
Every Friday the next interviewee in line will publish a new portrait and interview, consisting of their answers to the ten questions they have been given.
After they have published, the interviewee will then become the interviewer. They will be responsible for finding the next participant, as well as compiling the questions that this next person in line will answer. Interviewers can change as many or as few questions as they like, but they should change at least one before passing them on to the next lucky punter.
Thats it! Simple. More detailed instructions will be given to each interviewee as and when they are approached, so fear not.

Great interview Steph! Glad interview52 is back and bubbling, with ALL NEW RULES! I'll update the sidebar :)
Can't believe you called your mum about the childhood obsession!
This is the kind of interview I like. I feel like I know you a little better now than I did before you posted, you know?
I didn't realise you were connected to so many people on moblog. Can't get over about your autophobia either. Wow.
Nige it took me long time to get over my autophobia too (LOL)
Sorry bad joke - yeah my autophobia was and still can be bitch!
I never really mentioned it on moblog before as my blog was so full of woe is me self pitying posts that I now cringe about I tried to keep over here a more positive place.
And yeah WOW I didn't realise I was connected to so many mobloggers either until I sat and thought about it!
Yeaaah that was a nice read.
Does the blonde kid have a name? Don't need to tyell me - i was just wondering if he did *actually* have a name :P It was really funny when we met because at first i thought maybe you were just babysitting him!
And what the hell is a yamyam?!?
tBK does indeed have a name it's Jordan - I'm sure i've mentioned somewhere before and LOL @ you - I didn't realise you didn't know i was a so called "mommy-blogger"
a yam yam is someone from wolverhempton - it's a stereo type supposedly based on our accents:
yam alroight ay ya?
Translation
You're alright aren't you?
Nice one Steph. Very interesting stuff. Nice to know someone actually knows their 'online' friends in real.
Slight correction for you. A yam yam is someone from the Black Country *not* just Wolverhampton (probably more Dudley than Wolves too)
I wondered what had happened; I was lined up for an interview a couple of weeks ago. If you're going to make a comeback you've got to do it with style, and this lived up to expectations: really interesting and entertaining. I'm glad you mentioned that you're talkative though, Steph, I'd have never guessed from the rest of the interview ;-)
For the purposes of this blog entry a yam yam is from Wolverhempton!
I didn't want to get into the whole conversation with the non midlanders about what the "Black Country" is and where does and doesn't fall into it - there are enough midlanders confused by the issue!
If we want to get real technical actual the exact street I live on at one point crosses the border into Walsall and the field behind my house is part of South Staffs Green Belt so I'm really a bit of a mongrel!
LOL
hari: I'm the most reserved, timid, QUIET person you've ever met
;-)
Yeah Hari, i must apologise man. I got caught up with other stuff and if it wasn't for Steph i wasn't sure if this blog would have a made a comeback so soon. Hope you're still on the interview list, man.
It's so weird how must the questions and answers summarise most the chats we had when I visited you and your boys the other week! haha!
alsooo good to see it back! i felt quite sad when nothing new was added for 2 weeks! i like being nosey!
Having met you (briefly) and been left with the feeling that there was a lot more I would like to talk to you about this interview is really interesting ... my three words to describe you would be ' caring, tenacious and funloving' and a lot more besides ....
Wow - i wondered what was going on with the project having spoken to nige & his "vision" & where he wanted it to go. Well done Steph - i would go along with Maggie on her 3 words - but I would also add the smiling - my overall impression in our brief moblog/shoot meet up was what a happy person you are, so it may have been a long journey through the autophobia, but it looks like you made it!
Glad this is up and running again - and enjoyed reading the interview Essitam!
A big thank you to you as well to revive interview 52. Only met you briefly but much more than 3 words and smiling and funloving certainly need to be added to the list
funny Steph - the girls seem to know you quite well and I always felt a space removed - this has helped me to know you better - a great interview
no... I remember I had a smart and funny comment for your Answer52 Essitam but I can't for the life of me remember what it was. It has been great to meet you through moblog and belated thanks for sharing
