Stopped Clocks is a public collaborative project which exists to first document all the stopped clocks in the UK, with the aim being to restore those we can to working order.

Anyone can help, so please send us any information on stopped clocks in your area and by all means post here at the blog.

A bad time for stopped clock hunting - mid afternoon. Every high level round window with a cross bar (as this one near Old Street) becomes a clock stopped at a quarter to three :-)

Yes when you're in the zone you start seeing clocks jumping out at you everywhere. But not quite as bad as Dali's melted watches or Alfred Hitchcock's Spellbound nightmare sequences. :-)
