As I went through Leceister Sq. today I realised that the Swiss Centre has been demolished! It had a magical chiming mechanical clock that animated every hour. I hope it was rescued not RIPed?

I walked past there yesterday and noticed it had gone... I hope this clock has been saved, they could make a feature of it inside the new building?

I noticed this sometime pre Christmas, I thought that there would be sme provision in he planning application to keep the clock somewhere in the new sturcture. Looks like another peice of London that made it unique to tourists and locals alike has gone to be replaced by something that coul be anywhere in the World.
