Diabolical Geometry
Christchurch Spitalfields was designed by the great architect Nicholas Hawksmoor. It is said that he was a mason and occultist who was secretly obsessed with 'divine geometry'. Hawksmoor planned 5 churches which would mark each point of a pentagram. It is rumoured that the victims of Jack the Ripper were used as a blood sacrifice to pour on the foundation stones of these buildings. The Ten Bells pub is immediately beside the church which is meant to be where Jack the Ripper stalked his victims.
Christchurch and Shoreditch church are the only two which were finally constructed, but spookily, neither church has any kind of crucifix or any other christian symbols on the building.
