This is my personal blog, not a venue for saleable images. In fact, because it's here that I share things that are important to me with the members of the moblog community, photo quality's not my priority. Events, occasions, achievements, thoughts, trips and experiments - you'll find them all here. Contact me for the development version of my photo portfolio, for a selection of saleable images or visit my dance photography blog or my website for cuttings. And remember that all photos remain my copyright unless I've specifically said otherwise.

"Give, give, give -- what is the point of having experience, knowledge or talent if I don't give it away? Of having stories if I don't tell them to others? Of having wealth if I don't share it? to leave Seville. It's a long time since I've felt like this about a place. Maybe I'll delay my return a little...

It looks beautiful.

I've never been to Seville, but have utterly fallen for other parts of Spain.

It is Helen, and the people are so friendly, and the weather is so pleasant, and I'm nearly getting the hang of the way they eat their words here.

Where's your favourite bit?

Helen says:

I like Galicia and the Basque country and the mountains. So many different kinds of beautiful in one country. And yes, great people.

We travelled a lot in N Spain in our camper van when H & B were young and we loved everything about it - but the people and the way of life were amazing we were made so welcome. I have really enjoyed looking right through your blog - thanks.
You seem to be a very strong lady! Good luck in all you do - I bet you can't wait for Dec when you are in charge.

Viv - thanks for the compliments! I was going back to Seville for another 2 weeks on the 14th, but despite the fact the flight's booked it doesn't look as if I'm going to be able to make it :-( Too much to do in London..

I understand that Dhamaka is Hindi for festival, it's also Cocani (Goan) for adrenaline explosion which is why I chose it. I'm told that my other pen name, Vatrena means 'white streak' in Croatian.

I edited your email off your comment. Hope you don't mind. I've had a lot of hassle from people who got my direct email and mobile off the internet (someone photo blogged my business card.. duh.. not a moblogger I hasten to add)
