WNA Documentary on BBC4

The beeb made what i think is a good half hour documentary on werenotafraid.com -

I look like I've been smacked repeatedly with an ugly stick, but at the time of filming I'd been operating on about 3 hours sleep a night for two weeks.

t's a doc that focusses both on the site as well as the cultural sub-text and technologies that allow it to be possible in the first place, and is quite a good watch really.

WNA documentary

kostika says:

That psychologist on there should be shot. She was annoying.

Otherwise I really liked it.

alfie says:

Yeah, she's HAWT, in a chick from Dawsons Creek kinda way - but goddamn she was annoying. Thats the thing about "experts!" on a show, they always want to show off.

I thought it was a good show. Saw it last Sunday on BBC. Enjoyed the hair buddy :)

Keep up the good work.

Your hair does seem to have a mind of its own.
I think in most of the shots, it was trying to do an impression of alexis in this shot :)

kostika says:

I was playing spot the Zim stuff in the shots in your flat.

I hate over analisis of things. So she really got on my nerves. But then she is a psychologist.

seaneeboy says:

Fnar fnar...

She used to be really quite wide across the hips if I remember rightly, before she got properly into telly. I think she was a Big Brother psychologist for the 1st and 2nd series as well...

12th Aug 2005, 09:30

alfie says:

yep, thats the one - she has that meditteranean FTANG! that makes me go ZING!Even if she is actually quite annoying.

BTW, got this from Big Dave from UKRag the other day:

Whilst in London wearing my 'Unafraid' t shirt, someone asked me if I'd seen said site and how much he liked it. To which I said "Yes." I also mentioned I was mates with one of the creators mates, though not the creator himself, and would pass on through you, the guys appreciation of the site. So if you could let him know that there are some Londoners out there that think he and site are fab, that'd be grand.
All this typed one handed whilst on hold. No music or anything though, the only thing that stops me thinking 'cut off' is the sign saying 'transfer' on my phone.
luv Big Dave

Thought you'd like to know :)

Helen says:

I'm going home this weekend to watch it (and visit cats and those parent things that most of us have one or two or more of). Mum said "Got it - was good - simply done" (got it as in she managed to record it, which is great as they pretend that I am the only person who knows how to use the video/knows which tapes can be used when I'm at home).

12th Aug 2005, 17:24
