This is awesome - that they exist at all is a miracle. Don’t let those nobles see this - they might want to come and shoot it.
thanks guys - appreciate the feedback. Now would someone like to help me clear my back garden (just leaving a little bit overgrown for our furry friends)?!
I love urban wildlife. :) Last weekend I had two friends visiting from Florida. We had been speaking earlier about how many animals like to wander around my little Bronx neighborhood.
Arriving home very late (about 3am or so), we got to see two skunks hanging out and doing skunk things (just nosing about and being cute mostly.) We talked to them some and took some photos (sadly from too far away, and I didn't have my nikon on me to get a good sharp zoom.) But they were very cute. :) I think if your little garden in London is someplace that animals feel comfortable in, that you should keep it. :)
Thanks Bronxelf. I'd love to have seen the pix of the skunks.
Re the garden, unfortunately I don't think the neighbours would agree with you. I know they really don't like it!
Well I am sure I will have more random urban wildlife photos. Yours is terrific. I've never seen a fox here but we get skunk, raccoons (lots of them), deer and possum.
I saw many, many more foxes in my two years in Twickenham than I ever did in my 15 years in the Yorkshire Dales (I've seen two in the Dales).
