Emma says:

I suspect that if it was taken at 00:50 today it's the scene of last night's Portsmouth gig!

Mick from Norfolk says:

Saw you at Cambridge 06/10/08. Am in my fifties, seen hundreds of acts over the years including many International ones. The 'BEST' live band I have ever seen.!!!!! Hope to see you again soon.

Oh we DID like to be beside the seaside!!!
Best gig I've been to, and like Mick I've been to quite a few!
What a brilliant band.

Great gig tonight guys, absolutely fantastic! By the way it's 'RIGHT on, me cock'! Oh and sorry for the 'raindrops keep falling on my head'! Quality night!

Andrew from St Germans(andrewmcevoy67-at-yahoo-dot-co-dot-uk) says:

Hall for Cornwall last night was buzzing lads. unbelievable show with lots of laughter too, and i still reckon you should have picked my suggestion of "if you're happy and you know it" rather than the popular (not) choice of "Raindrops keep falling on my head" which was, shall i say, embarrasing to say the least. It was the best gig i have ever been too and i love you lads to bits (even though you are from Bury, cos i was born and bred in Rochdale.) All the best for the rest of the tour and thanks for coming to Cornwall as we usually get ignored by most of the decent bands but at least we got the best last night. Cheers Lads!!!

Anne-Marie Cowell from DEVON!!(anne-marie-dot-cowell-dot--at-sky-dot-com) says:

We drove a 160 mile round trip last night to see you guys in Hall for Cornwall - what an amazing experience - and one I wont forget for a long long time. Stunning music, intimate venue and great buzz. Your knowledge of music, with your haunting lyrics, uplifting melodies and passionate beats make you the best live act I've ever seen. Well done on sticking at it.
Thanks for the memories, and for being brilliant at what you do.

Matt and Zoe ( the bairns) saw you at Delemere in the summer, and we all went last night to Truro; they said it was better than before and I'm the best mum ever!! So thanks for that!! I also have been round the gig block a few times, but was mesmerised by you all, and Jesca, last night. Thank you so much. xxx

Your Bristol gig kept me ticking over until I saw you again in Truro. Still on a high. Please keep enjoying performing your music and dont let the Mercury award (and the extra fame attached to it) change you guys.......... Summertime................and the living is easy........................

Matt(mking-at-maygurney-dot-co-dot-uk) says:

Saw you on Monday in Cambridge - awsome gig - even though you did have to start the first some (Station Approach) again ( first night nerves ?) and re-start Perfect Weather to Fly due to Chris fainting !! Just made for a more intimate, interesting, more human gig and we got to here two songs 1.5 times - more for our money - This night was as good as The Other Stage gig at Glatonbury at Glastonbury - didnt make me cry this time but did make me smile - never had the hair stand up on the back of my neck as much as I did at Cambridge

Hank Plankton says:

I don't get to see live bands so much these days. 1. Because we moved from london to bournemouth and there aren't the venues or bands. 2. Because we have two nippers.
My missus got us tickets to the portsmouth gig as a birthday present and did the driving so I could have a beer.
I'm still feeling a warm glow thinking about it.

I sang in Portsmouth Guildhall when I was 8. It was bigger then.

Jules says:

Hello! I saw Elbow twice at Glasto this year and last Friday at Cardiff student union. Now..I am not normally the type of person who becomes obsessed with bands and writes entries on their web-sites so this really is an exception - for an exceptional band. They pull on my heart strings every time. Thank you x

Amazin' says:

Every song a gem here at the Roundhouse tonight . You gave us diamonds and in return we gave you that timeless classic 'My Old Man's a Dustman' - a fair swap I think.

One gig like this a year'd see me right. Cheers,

Came to see you at the roundhouse on Sunday, have seen you twice before (Somerset House and Brixton) but Sunday, you had something different, an air of satisfaction that spilled over into the crowd - we were so thrilled to be sharing your moment guys, you deserve to be having the time of your lives. Have been a fan from the beginning, you enrich my life.
