I spotted what I thought was a woodpecker on a short hike at Grouse Mountain. Thanks Hildegard for pointing out what it actually is :) I only manages the 4 snaps before it flew away.

and what a quick mover!

I really like the 4th one. It looks very fierce. Gotta feel sorry for the poor bug it's going for.
