Cycling to work this morning, listening to Coupland's Jpod on the MP3 player. Sun crawling up. Everything golden and lovely and slightly chilled.

i love autumn mornings, with just that taste of winter in the air. haven't read jpod-only got around to reading generation x a couple of years ago. wasn't that impressed-i know enough self-obssessed people already

Thanks caine and Shitake.

Fish - Exactly. It was just a taste of winter. Jpod is only so-so. The Asperger's-geek-chic gets a bit tiresome after a while and the internet-like fractured story telling wears thin. Having read Gen X and Microserfs, I feel I've met these characters and this story before. It's worth persevering with but it's all a little flat.

Thanks Nige. I remember that and you spotted the location. I wonder what it is about them that catches my eye?
