Sucker for reflections and repeating geometry. Erratic uploader but always taking more pics. Now more behind than ever thanks to several recent work trips.

Currently shooting with a Panasonic DMC-TZ3, which has all the zoom I could ever need, but lacks some other refinements. It'll do until there's an affordable SLR with enormo-zoom that I can fit in my pocket; watching the Four Thirds consortium with interest ...

Awesome. Which country's display was this?

I love the festival of light. Did you see it from English Bay, or on the other side of False Creek at Kits? I was in London when it was going on this year.

Thanks, both! :)

Badger: We watched it from English Bay, with the hordes and a box of Beard Papa cream puffs :) I think these shots are from the Finale, but couldn't tell you whose! Probably China's. It was a fab event ... very jealous that you guys get this once a year!

Haha. A Beard Papa has just opened next to my work. I'm a little bit worried about packing on the pounds! I normally see the fireworks at Kits/Vanier park; I can't face the crowds at English Bay!

Yeah, they say they're only 200 calories each, but (a) I could easily eat half a dozen if left to myself and (b) I figure pretty much all of those calories are from fat ;-)

Vanier Park was recommended by a friend, but we didn't fancy traipsing all the way back to downtown afterwards. The crowds at English Bay were a bit unnerving afterwards, though.
