Stopped Clocks is a public collaborative project which exists to first document all the stopped clocks in the UK, with the aim being to restore those we can to working order.

Anyone can help, so please send us any information on stopped clocks in your area and by all means post here at the blog.

Another stopped clock on Upper street. With all the work clearly going
on perhaps restoring the clock is part of that, but it certainly doesn't
seem like it in this phase of the work. I'm calling one Tony Stapleton
next week to find out more about the clock.

Dont fret! Its going to be mended very soon (next week hopefully) . Various cogs and bushes need replacing and the glass got broken when the scaffolding was going up. Its all costing about £3k
