Stick to Leeches! ;)
Had a Leech on my front tube for nearly 2 years - it would have been longer but when I put the bike in to be serviced, they automatically replaced the tube.

I went back to a traditional puncture repair kit in the end. Takes a little longer, but works well enough when fixing things in my office :)

you also get much better fumes with a traditional puncture repair kit - I've always found the preglued patches perfectly adequate if you rough up the surface of the tube to give them something to stick to, even the wilko patches work!
