So is this right...when I want to post it's the cost of a text and can only be 140 characters? Like twitter?

might be worth switching to blogspot/blogger - you can post from a special e-mail address they give you. Means that from iPhone you can post:
1. As much text as you like
2. One picture and as much text as you like.
3. One picture and no text
4. When you are drunk on the bus home (luckily I haven't done that yet!)

Yes Becca, if you want a normal web blogging platform for mostly text based entries there are loads of alternatives. Moblog is all about mobile, so we support SMS posts, but mostly posts are all about media; images, video etc. The platform is geared towards mobile stuff, so for example you can simply call in your posts using one of our dedicated numbers.
