I've heard such a buzz about this guy, I really must check it out.
Alan Moore is a brilliant author and Watchmen was a ground breaking comic. It had a profound effect on the superhero comic genre and also comics in general. Definitely worth reading.
I'm so uneducated about this stuff. I need to branch out beyond Daniel Clowes and Maus,
The movie is coming out next year - let's hope it does justice to the original (unlike most comic book adaptations).
Rorschach's definitely someone you want in your local Neighbourhood Watch...
I don't hold any hope for the movie as no one has yet done justice to any of Alan Moore's work. V is the only OK adaptation, but it loses the actual message that the comic had. From Hell was an OK movie, but it loses so much compared to the comic series.
Taniwha, most comic fanatics I know haven't even read Maus. I certainly only read it a few years ago for the first time.
