Hi there,
My name is Iona and I am a 23 year old freelance costume designer from Glasgow.
I have attached a picture of my tattoo design. It is based on an Art Nouveau brooch from the 1920's by a designer called Rene Lalique. I found it during my last year of university and said that I would get it done as a graduation present to myself, though i have never had enough money to fund it, even though I graduated June 2007! The tattoo would be on my upper back, with the wings stretching from shoulder to shoulder. Due to this, I had to alter the design slightly to fit accross my back as im quite tall and broad.
The colours on the actual brooch are vivid turquoises, greens and blues, and I would also like the tattoo to be very vivid.
I would love to be part of this opportunity, as i have worked very hard over the past 5 years, and am currently setting up on my own as designer. Getting this tattoo done would be the best way to mark a new chapter in my life and to show all that I have achieved so far.
