Cheers guys, I was plenty chuffed with the time. Over the final 5 or 6 minutes of my journey I spotted him and was hell bent on catching him up. Turned out we both work on the same estate.

So jealous - I have pretty much given up on cycling to work for the winter, as at the best of times it takes over an hour for the 16 miles to work. In snow and ice like today it would have been fatal!
