do they all have barbed wire around them? I've never seen that. I guess in Canada any fool is allowed to climb a pylon.

Yep they do all have barbed wire round them. Maybe you don't have any fools in Canada that would climb them?! Knew someone who had a job painting them. Didn't sound like fun.

Taniwha, reminds me of a documentary someone did a few years ago walking along the m8 motorway between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Was actually very interesting. There's quite a bit of public art along the side of the road. Including this horn which plays music at the side of the road. Love it.

That's the feeling I'd get about these things. Pylons also cut through the poor areas of town, make people sick or angry. Thought it would make an interesting article.
