Javama says:

What a clever photo - you must have been so quick to get the shot. It's great.

Ta, but look at all the street furniture I left in the way, & the manner in which he seems to be calving people's a bit rum too...

Got a technically much better shot but he's falling onto his crossbar (with some force) in that one & it didn't seem right to post him in pain. ;)

But I like the street furniture in the shot. It is rooted and really still contrasting to him - upright(ish) but very unrooted and unstable. Sorry he got hurt though. Seems a bit harsh!

Street cyclists seem willing to endure a lot of pain in the particulars when they're trying to get a trick right...

It would have been better had I been further to the left - could have had the bollards without them impinging on him.

Surely this is pain?

I like your photo. Especially because of all the people in the background. Is it near an airport or train station? Two folk with suitcases.

Javama says:

Should one laugh at another's pain? This made me laugh!

My chap wasn't so, erm, demonstrative - more wincing than gurning, if you will.
As to the cases - there's always people hauling luggage about; weekends away, business trips, bundles & gowns, ballroom outfits for dance class, migrant labour migrating, students taking laundry home...
