Stopped Clocks is a public collaborative project which exists to first document all the stopped clocks in the UK, with the aim being to restore those we can to working order.
Anyone can help, so please send us any information on stopped clocks in your area and by all means post here at the blog.

Fan*tastic* picture. This reminds me rather a lot of the internals of the clock at St. Leonards in shoreditch. So what's the scoop SFG?
Alfie, This is the long forgotten about works inside a church that is being converted. My company has the photographic contract and rights for the project.
I'll find a picture of the outside and post that, if I haven't already put one up somewhere.
So what will happen to the clock and this mechanism through the conversion (to what, apartments?)?
It's going to be a restaurant when it is completed. I'm not sure what they are going to do with the clock, I'll try and find out. The tower will be renovated as part of the works but will be closed off, certainly to the public. The stairway is too narrow and dangerous for public access.
I've posted a few more pictures from the church to my moblog, but they seem to have gotten lost in teh interwebs.
