Her taking a photo of me, taking a photo of her, taking a photo of me... ... ...

I'm posting this now because i only just got my hands on the other half!

My 3 year old niece got a specially designed camera for children for xmas. It's actually rather brilliant. She took about 400 photos in one day. Of everything. The carpet, her Grandad's chin, the windows, her feet...

cool! kids love photography and the best way for them to learn is to just do it. Fortunately, digital media gives you the chance to do that at relatively little cost - when I was nobbut a lad both photography and television were mainly black and white, and film was expensive, so I was never allowed to take a photo in case I "wasted the film". We holidayed with German relatives when I was 13 and I was bought a Kodak Instamatic, and as we were there for two weeks I used up BOTH of the films which came with it - 48 photos! These days I take that many an hour!

So do I! I wouldn't mind having a bit of her enthusiasm too if she has any to spare and possibly a tiny bit of energy......

She has plently of both, Javama. If we could figure out a way to harness it i'm sure there wouldn't be an energy crisis...

Like Para I remember my parents warning me to 'not waste the film'. How can you learn unless you just try lots of different things.
