Router restart fix

My router kept rebooting so I called tech support and this is the fix. Apparently the vents are on the bottom and the wireless radio causes it to overheat and reboot. There is no fix from the hardware manufacturer but their solution is to run the router upside down.

It's only 5 weeks old and clean as a whistle!

there are no vents on the top at all and the wireless radio runs a bit hot then cuts out forcing a reboot..

I'll wizz the top off at weekend and drill some vents in it, that will cure it :)

why not just stand it on a couple of books so air can circulate underneath?

If o2 are like Be There then don't drill holes in the box. Be lease the box to you and you have to return it at the end of your contract.

It's running upside down at the moment. Still restarts every now and then. I'll call them next week to get a different model..
