These are random moments in the life of an indecent designer and the city she loves.

I am a female, carbon based lifeform.
I am a New York City Native.
I am a Design Professional.
I take photographs.
I also sculpt, paint, create mosaics, and play with weapons.
And sometimes, I even dance about Architecture.
What I see, is what you get.
Stuff- about five hours, but it took me nine damned eggs to get this one to work right.
Dhamaka-I finally got one to stay together.
Sprocket- a blue LED would be really cool if one could be found with a weensy battery.
That is freakin' awesome!!!!
Thanks. With spring coming I thought if I could make a couple maybe someone might want to buy em.
Perhaps a hole in the bottom where you can put the end of a fibre-optic strand? It would be like a miniature lava lamp.
Anyway - looks cool. And I suspect it's one of those many things that's really not as impressive to others until they try and do it themselves...
There is a hole in the bottom already (that's how the inside of the egg got out) but Id need to build a stand for it (what it's sitting on now is the pen holder for my digipad)
Hey, Belf, do you mind if I pimp these in my journal? Hopefully you'd get a few commissions out of it. I just cannot get over how fantastic and magical it is.
Go ahead, feel free.
I did kind of remove the magic though: http://damnedgooddesign.wordpress.com/2009/03/11/eggsperimental/
Why this not highlit? Sheer artistry and skill involved worthy of awed gasps and wild acclaim.
Rich mak highlit.
Well so far two people want one, so it's a start. Fortunately, I always have eggs here.
Toddy- I broke eight of them before I figured out how to not break one. :)
Oh, fantastically beautiful! I used to paint and draw on eggshells years ago. That was tough going, I can only imagine how difficult this was to do. Wonderful. Faved.
I got commissioned to do two more, much more elaborate and difficult. So far, no successes to report, unfortunately. I'm not even getting to the carving stages- the prep stages (paint, etc) are what's doing it in.
I've been away for a while and have only just seen your Eggs, they are awesome.... I'm tempted to have a go myself
