I spent ages watching this chap. Seeing him sit there next to the others standing and waiting for the bus made me think about how much I take my health and youth for granted.

A bit bigger here:

the expression on his face is just fantastic. You're right, sights like this do make us realise how much we take for granted. Very nice photo.

That's a really great shot. Yes, be greatful for health and the freedom of movement. I thank God everytime I blow my own nose, let alone scratch my own ear!

Thanks 'hobo, Viv & Javama. He maintained that exact expression throughout the entire period I was watching.

Thanks Caine, though it's not good to hear you feel that way.

Well, it's not all the time, and I slog on anyway. No use complaining, just have to get out there and do. I discovered today that if Matoska is on a leash and decides to run, he can easily pull me at speed (I had to run like a crazy person to keep up). I think he might find himself hooked up to a sled next winter. :D

nige says:

Thanks GD :)

It's getting there Javama! The swelling is right down and i'm able to get my weight on it again. Thanks for asking :)
