Looking down a speciality.
Teazleicious Diva-cat photos for the lazy at heart.
Now with added kitten.
*gets vertigo just thinking about it
Wonderful image! How long is the elevated aqueduct?
I think I'd better google this.
eek, I had to sit inside when I went over this viaduct.....needless to say the kids hung out as far as they could just to scare me :-)
I've often seen it from the A5, always wondered what it's like to be on top of it.
You do get a lovely view from up there (if you can bear to look).
Harimanjaro, I'm not 100% sure if this is the one you'll have seen from the A5. The Chirk Aqueduct a few miles away is closer to the road...
Oh my, ace pics, and I would be with Paintist cowering inside :)
It's not scary really. Totally solid. Been there 200 years.
I googled it, and then talked to Dave (partner and smartarse/engineer type person) .... and I have to say I am quite taken with the idea of doing the canal holiday ..... however I think he would have to invent a parachute/lifejacket combo before I would feel safe doing that crossing .... did I mention that I suffer from a touch vertigo ?
I am off to this very aquaduct in May... I am looking forward to it, but i shall still stay inside :-)
Wow. Looks like an amazing experience.
