It was mostly lovely weather (a bit cold when the sun went in).
It started chucking down and blowing a gale on Monday morning as we left!

Love the top and bottom shots in particular but I suppose the duck with a leaning towards publicity stole the show. Good way to spend the weekend I'd say - but you would need the right clothes to get the most from it! Hope you fed the duck after all that posing.

The right clothes Javama? It's not actually a pursuit that involves contact with the water, so sensible shoes are the only real requirement (to avoid aforesaid contact with water).
No ducks got fed, unfortunately.

I guess I have strong memories still of a youthful canoeing expedition down the River Wye - a week spent wet through day and night. We went to the cinema one afternoon to try to get warm and we actually steamed as the heat started to dry our clothes! you sound better organised.
