Was wandering about early trying to distract myself from my "big, important meeting" with my favorite professor to discuss my proposal for a paper on Derrida, Nietzsche, and Woman.

Told the professor that having people read my writing is much like having them see me naked and I was pretty sure this paper hadn't showered. To which she said, "You don't have to shower for your PE teacher."

In the end, she called the proposal ideal and gave me dark chocolate from Paris. A stellar day.

Thanks, Caine. It was a really good day. The solar panel in my head is beginning to recharge and I am remembering what it means to feel almost human again.

Well done, you : )
I know how you feel, showing someone your writing is incredibly revealing. More than any other 'job', it feels as though there's no mediation between heart and head sometimes

I don't know that I will ever stop feeling nekkid when I share my writing, but maybe I'll decide I like being a nudist. :)
