Indeed. It looks likely that there will be an appeal. I also have to say that Michael's death is only the inevitable consequence of homophobic bullying and abuse being tolerated and in some places the norm.

Sometimes, when yet another knuckle-dragging, hairy-palmed, shitwitted fucktard gets a murder charge reduced, or has a "provocation" mitigation plea accepted on the grounds that his (male) victim allegedly made a pass at him, I'm filled with the urge to tie judges to their own benches & explain the situation very, very carefully indeed. Reckon the Powerpoint presentation should be called, "Imagine If The Ladies, God Bless 'Em, Were Allowed To Carry On Like This." & then we go straight to a Q&A; session involving electrical behavioural therapy.

As a sort of starter for 10, I'd like to trial the technique on Andy "all the other kids are doing it" Parfitt first...

As a woman of great height, I have often been mistaken for a gay man, sometimes harmlessly - motorcycling clothes, slender frame & a shaved head did lead me to a few comedy moments involving Freddie Mercury clones, but I've also been Stanley-knifed by wannabe queer bashers.
