And this is, I have no idea... the 11th one I've tried to do in this set?
I'm *REALLY* getting frustrated.

I had sprayed the thing a bunch of times in an attempt to get the INSIDE black. I was cleaning the black paint off the outside, I had gotten to the point where I needed to flip the egg over in the holder to get to the side I hadn't done yet. It got stuck.

Oh no. I am so sorry this happened. This has to define a whole new level of frustration.

I wouldnt mind if a) people werent waiting on these commissions b)I didnt need the money FROM these commissions and c) I had an actual USE for all the eggs Ive needed to blow out to try and do these two.

Gah. frustrating.
Can't tell so will ask - have you tried gessoing the outside before you drill that certainly makes them less crumbly in the longrun - maybe it would help while you're working on them too? You could maybe dye it black a few times with pysanky dye to get your inside colour good & even before drilling.
I break enough just gilding them - this is above & beyond; you have my sympathy.
