Bluebells out in MAC's wood

This is where we scattered my Mother's ashes. The bluebells are out now as far as the eye can see. The wood was full of sunlight, birdsong and butterflies. We also saw a spotty woodpecker and startled this deer. I had to give the camera to my BS for the deer shot because he has a steadier hand.

Dedicated to all the descendants of MAC and Oz... The Bluebell Dynasty!

Isn't it? She used to get such a buzz if she saw wild deer. They're so shy...

Wow, wonderful shots. Really feels like Spring is well and truly here when the bluebells are out. Especially love the top shot and fantastic shot of the deer as well.

Blimey! I go off to do a roast dinner and miss all the visitors. Thanks everyone. It is indeed a gorgeous place and I've left instructions for my own ashes to be scattered there too.

AmericanFriend: I used that exact same word walking back from the wood. Magical!

DD is lovely and the deer was a bonus but my favourite is the middle shot too Wendle.
