"And as you cross the circle line,
Well the ice wall creaks behind
You're a rabbit on the run.
And the silver splinters fly
In the corner of your eye,
Shining in the setting sun.
Well do you ever get the feeling
That the story's too damn real
And in the present tense.
Or that everbody's on the stage
And it seems like you're the only
Person sitting in the audience
Skating away, skating away, skating away
On the thin ice of the new day"

Thanks, Nige! I stood and stared at this for the longest time, then burst out laughing.
Weird - I had one of these as a kid, and I lost it while visiting my grandparents, only for it to appear tied to the front of my granny's neighbour's van! Brings back memories. Love the shot!
Thanks, everyone.
PJ, maybe this is a universal Kermit thing. :D
OJ, I doubt it's meant to disturb, Judith has a good amount of grandkids, and it may be up there because one of them dropped it in the garden.
He just needs a tongue lolling out the side of his mouth.
Sorry, too macabre?
I'm sure it wasn't intended to disturb! It's just the way you look at things sometimes.
I actually have a cuddly toy of Hartlepool Hanging Monkey, which I received in a Secret Santa, and that's even less tasteful I assure you.
I would have found it disturbing if someone had fashioned him a proper hanging noose. Your monkey sounds neat, the kind of thing I'd like.
