Ok the black egg has 3 coats of a water based sealant on it. Yes I know it's
not a very neat job. It doesn't need to be, since I'll be painting over it
completely anyway.

While this is thoroughly drying though, I'm going to be turning my attention
to the white egg. It needs 3 coats of white enamel before it can go to the
next step.

Euphro- and stays crunchy in milk!

Rich- thanks. So far, so good. Just put a bit of enamel on the white one though that's going to take soe time. Still, once all the enamel is on it's much stronger.

This has been such a breath holding seies to follow .... I hope the progress of the 'white one' will be a little less traumatic ..... and I still wish it could remain white ;)

29th Apr 2009, 19:51

bronxelf says:

The white one is actually a bit more of a pain in the ass. The white enamel doesn't dry nearly as fast.

MaggieD says:

Oh no, I'm not sure that we, the Moblog Egg Watchers Collective, can take any more drama .... please.please let this one work out OK first time round ....
