My daughter's birthday today. Better watch out on the roads because I'll be teaching her to drive.

Happy Birthday Cariadus's Daughter

Caine says:

Aaw, Happy Birthday to her, and good luck on the lessons!

cariadus says:

Dhamaka, thanks!

Caine, presumably that's good luck to me?! I'm sure she won't be such heart attack potential as my son was, though. :)

Caine says:

Yes, good luck to you. :D

Happy Birthday!

The other half! says:

Well, you taught me - and survived - and I was ten years more than 17 at the time... and far more skittish...

And you got the lad through... so Missy should be a breeze!!! xxx

Tell you what! How about Pizza as a reward!

Caine, thanks, I might need it. First lesson negotiated and only one minor heart attack. I took her in a large car park by the Old Harbour and we were a bit close to going over the edge into the sea at one point but she was very good, really.

Twiglet, thanks.

Cariad, pizza sounds good!

Happy Birthday!
I could not do that for all the tea in China, teach one of my kids to drive that is. They'd be travelling home locked in the boot, dead cert.

It can be quite nerve wracking, but I got my son through the test. I also taught my wife to drive - not only that but I helped her get through her IAM Advanced Test. And it didn't end in divorce. The scariest thing, though, was teaching my mother to drive when she was 60. That is definitely not recommended!
